Headshots

Location

The sessions will take place in A1237 (formerly A147c), in the A Building, home to the Algonquin College Photography Program. On the day of the event, there will be clear signage, and our Student Ambassadors will be on-site to guide you to the studio.

Please arrive at Studio A1237 at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure a smooth process.

What To Wear

Professional headshot that feels natural and true to you, so wear professional attire and bring any grooming items for touch-ups.

Props that highlight your profession or studies (e.g., a chef’s hat) are welcome. Please note: objects resembling weapons (e.g., knives, firearms) are strictly prohibited.

Supporting Students

Your participation in these headshot sessions not only provides you with professional-quality photos but also gives us valuable practical experience. Additionally, it directly supports the Algonquin College Photography Student Exhibition & Charity Print Sale.

This year’s exhibition is scheduled for April 24, 2025, with the location to be determined. You are, of course, invited to attend!

Cost

Each headshot session is only $30, tax-free—less than what you’d spend on coffee in a week!

Select your preferred time slot from the available options. Fill in the required information for all individuals participating in the session. Complete the payment process. Payment must be made in advance to secure your appointment.

Digital FIles

You can expect to receive the digital files of your portrait session within 4 days following your appointment. We ensure that each image is given the utmost attention in post-processing to bring out the best in your portraits.



Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, please reschedule or cancel your appointment, link provided in confirmation email, at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the slot to others.

Important: Failure to show up for your appointment will result in no refund being given. This policy is in place to ensure maximum support for the Algonquin College Photography Student Exhibition.
